FORD F150 LEVELING KIT INSTALL TRANSCRIPT
Hi folks, Tim here Supreme Suspensions.

For over thirty years, the Ford F-series has been the best-selling vehicle line in North America, and by a pretty good stretch. For 2015, the F150 was redesigned with a beefed up chassis and an all-aluminum body, which is a first in the full-size pickup truck market.

We have such a model with us today, fresh out of the showroom, powered by a 2.7 liter Eco Boost V6. While that may seem small for a full-size pickup truck, what it lacks in displacement it picks up in a couple turbo chargers to pump up 325 horsepower and 375 pound-feet of torque.

We really like this new F-150 for its versatility, its efficiency, and it’s very comfortable. We are a suspensions company and we think it sits a little bit low in the front, so we’re going to take it over to our friends at Mod Auto in La Habra, CA to install a Supreme Suspensions front leveling kit.

Let’s head into the shop!

2015 FORD F150 LEVELING KIT INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1
Once you get the truck in the air, drop the front wheels.

Step 2
Start by pulling the brake line and abs wiring brackets from the steering knuckle so you’ll have some slack later.

Step 3
Then remove the outer tie rod nut.

Step 4
Disconnect the sway bar link.

Step 5
Remove the upper ball joint nut. If you have to persuade the ball joint loose, make sure you hit the side and not the threads.

Step 6
Remove the lover strut mounting bolts. Earlier models may have a single bolt through the lower bushing.

Step 7
Undo the three nuts from the top of the strut tower. They can be a little tricky to get at.

Step 8
Now you can wiggle the strut lose. On the bench, install the spacer on top of the strut and attach it with the provided nuts.

Step 9
From here, installation is reverse of the removal.

Alright we pulled the truck back the folks over at Mod Auto did a great job installing it and very accommodating to us. We are very happy with the way it turned out. It’s nice and level, it’s looking mean, and I can’t wait to go play with it!
